    Diamond pattern background when using ADF

    Hello people... Never saw this... Just got a call from a client... On her MP4002, She said, only when she uses the ADF, She gets that Diamond background pattern as if you were in the "Service" Mode and went to "Copy Window" and made a copy... Is this something her I.T. Dept. could have triggered??? Thanks for your input in advance, Laser801

      Turn off service mode and return to user mode...OR...close the Copy Window. (Someone left the Service Mode on.)

          i would have the customer reboot the copier. since that does take you out of service mode.

              Thanks! I did go there and the girl told me someone from I.T. was there... They did put it into the service mode and left it..

                  Thanks for the input...The machine was in the Service Mode... I had to get them some toner anyways so the trip wasn't wasted... Appreciate it!
