Ricoh MP 301 semi blank page

hello to everyone!
i have a problem with a copier Ricoh mp 301, which sometimes print semi blank pages
in both print and copy funtions. nNo SC , No jams
New drum unit replaced before 2000 page and the problems appeared after the replacement.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I'd also place my bet on the PCU. Also, why was the PCU replaced so soon? It's supposed to last around 45k pages...

the previouw pcu replaced almost at 45k. The problem started after the replacement with anew pcu.
But i am not sure that the pcu is the problem.

Do you have the old PCU to hand to try?

no i haven't. i am thinking to replace again with a new one.
But i am not sure that the pcu is the problem.

are you 100 % it is the correct PCU? and is it from the manufacture? generic toners?

I also think it is due to the PCU. Was it a genuine PCU or 3rd party?

toner and pcu are original

Very basic machine, any print quality issues usually resolved by replacing the PCDU. They can fail very early, they are a poor / cheap design.

Fit a new PCDU.

I replaced yesterday the drum unit with a new one.
and now i will wait some days to seoo if the problem fixed

Check that the old toner bottle cap is not stuck in the hopper, this will stop the machine from adding toner & cause the new PCDU to fail again soon.
