    MP307 eating cyan toner

Have a MP307 that has been at the customer location since 2020. Since Feb 2024 its been going through a cyan toner every few weeks. this is not a heavy use machine and the use it does get is mostly mono prints. Any ideas as to what could cause the machine to start eating the cyan toner? Also since January of 2024 the y k drum/dev units have been replaced nothing has changed with the cyan or magenta units.

Replace Cyan PCDU. Particularly, the PCU eats toner when it fails.

wouldnt you see some over toning on that unit..
i have found on the mpc401 developer units they start to leak in the back and will wipe out 1st the gear on dev unit and then the add toner coil
      if not taken care of.
not the same machine but both small tight pcdu and similiar..

usually when the machine eats up the toner, you have to replace the pcdu of that colour, it happened to me a few years ago on mpc2003 with yellow, (I had also opened a discussion here) I recommend replacing the complete assembly, and not just the pcu and the developer unit, for some strange reason the machine "drains" a lot of toner
...you can check it yourself by removing the waste toner bottle, and looking into the hole of the waste container....you will see that it will all be cyan!
