As far as the mechanical side goes, make sure that your scanner motor pulley is secured to the shaft and that the tension spring is on the motor assembly to prevent the belt from slipping its teeth.

Guicho, I am getting ready to call it day. I am very interested in this problem, so post an update on your repair. I will check back in tomorrow. I am just sorry we haven't figured it out yet. If the scanner motor components are OK, I would say were looking for an electrical malfunction. We have covered all the mechanicals I can think of.

              Hello friend:

I realize the prove during 3 minutes. The lamp is always on.

              Thank you.

First sample you sent blocked me for a moment. This second sample is different.
So all the internal printing is fine I suppose. And as you mentioned everything mechanical is OK in your scanning system.
Based on the first sample my first idea was the lamp regulator (but again you mentioned that the lamp is on) or the VIB as I mentioned in the first post.
Checking the second sample I'll go with VIB and ribbon cables leaving the CCD B140 5469 Harness - FFC SBU 15WICK/120mm
                B140 5470 Harness - FFC SBU 40WICK/120mm.

Also check B065 5610 1st Scanner Harness (B064/B065) could be a bad connection (but I doubt it if your lamp it's on for 3 min)

                Keep us updated

Here is the configuration for DIP SW 101
                    No. Function On/Off Comment
                    1 Not used OFF
                    2 Not used OFF
                    3 Design/Factory Use Only OFF
                    4 Not used OFF
                    5 Not used OFF
6 Local OFF Japan 6,7,8: OFF, OFF, OFF
                    7 Local OFF 115 V 6,7,8: ON, OFF, OFF
8 Local OFF 220/240V 6,7,8: OFF, ON, OFF

                    Controller Board
The controller board controls all devices for memory DIMMs, HDD, copying,
printing, scanning, etc. In order to add an option (printer, scanner, FireWire, wireless LAN, etc.), install the appropriate ROM DIMM on the controller board.
NOTE: 1) The Controller is on the front side of the swing out circuit board unit, with the IPU on the back side.
                    2) All Controller DIP SWs should be OFF during normal operation.

Turn OFF the DIP SW 101 - 6 and try again. IPU could cause similar problems with yours but if the internal prints are OK I doubt the board it's defective.

Check also the configuration of DIP SW on IPU

                    IPU (Image Processing Unit)
Processes images scanned by the CIS and SBU.
All IPU Board DIP switches should be set to OFF.
                    IPU Board DIP SW 102
                    No. Function On\OFF
                    1 DFU OFF
                    2 DFU OFF
                    3 DFU OFF
                    4 DFU OFF
DFU: Design, Factory Use only. Do not change these settings.
NOTE: The IPU is on the back side of the swing out circuit board unit.

                    Good luck!

Guicho, one of the following PCB's may have failed.
BCU ( I have had these fail)
SBU (I have replaced this maybe once)
IPU (I have never had one fail)

I changed middle thermistor, end thermistor, replaced BCU from another machine (May 10th)
I enter SP with 1106 temp. display =255
Off and on machine and is the same.

You may already know this, but sc543 is an 'A' level code. Enter service mode and then power off and on to reset. I am suprised a little that the BCU made no difference. This is a shot in the dark, but try a different hard drive, or a least format the one you have. Another possibility, update your firmware to the latest version. These are simple things to try, and they eliminate pontential causes.
Replace the entire fuser unit if you can.

first problem is no display because of Fuse 111, i assume that you replace this with same ratings. i hope that the PSU was not affected by this open fuse. have you check the power supply? and i hope we have proper grounding...
