    i guess the machine has a strong fluorecent lamp on top of it, or the light is directly on the optics so every scanning it absorb the light.... try to move the machine.
    fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

      Yeah that does totally look like a neon room illumination above the copier. Switch out all lights and run a test copy with cover open again...

        Manny thanks to all of you guys.... Yap is the florescent lamp above the copier cause the problem...I always do the sky shot after replaced the drum...

            Take that bow KopyKat. I used that same image on a new tech to see if he could figure it out. Didn't much like the guy, never did show him what I did to 'fix' it.

                Meh I would of spotted it if I was in front of the MFD LOL.
