It happen only in copy mode?
And everything else mechanically is in a good shape I suppose...clutches, feed tires, mylars, etc...
Did you replaced the LD unit with a new one?...or just poly motor.
Check the connection between LD sync board and the LD unit itself. Also check the connection between LD unit and BICU. Change the BICU from other machine....first back up NVRam before you start.Comment

I put a known good laser unit in the machine , did laser beam pitch adjustment. Same end result, fax ok, print ok, and copy no go.Comment

Try to replace the BICU. Back up NVRam & address book first, replace the BICU, do a 5801 and start from the scratch.Comment

agree... try to check micro switches... and clean the sync detector... bring spare...fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.Comment

Well....
What happened? was it the door switches? was it the ribbon cable? what happened, I need to know too. Also, can anyone tell me what happened to Scanrouter V2 Lite? and if V2 Lite is gone, which version are you supposed to use now? I guess i sound like i fell off the turnip truck, but I am really just short of screwed here. Sounds like an LD unit to me, but they are like 500 bucks or something. Not even worth it in my books. But hey, I just fix em.
Peace
