A551/A1055 low toner

Guys, I have the same problem on two machines (A551 , A1055).Firmware 3.18eu1, and 0.17eu1.
Both have round 1.000.000 cop/print.They have new: OPC, Charge, Grid,
Dev. , T/S .I go a print(copy) 1.500 - 2.000 perfect copy, then ID sensor go to 5.0V (3103-1 and 3103-2: 5.0V).Then I shoot down machines for two hours, then perform Auto process control execution (2-962), and everything is OK: ID : Vsp=4.00V, Vsg=0,5V. Then go agane.

Any codes in the SMC report?
I saw many times the TD sensor failing in 551 & 1055.
Also check the HVPS for the dev unit.
Switch to pixel count mode and monitor the results.

I tray a second dev. unit its a same things.

Try replacing the ID sensor or entire PCU.

The toner end sensor can cause this. It's the one in the front where the toner dumps in. It can be bad or if you let that bell go empty the sensor will see it as toner end. You will have to fill that bell by slowly adding toner in. Probably a good idea to be wearing dark clothing.
