Cust. may have added or updated firewall or antivirus programs that are blocking access. Authentication passwords may have changed. IP addresses may have changed.
Don't take that toner with me!

Check the I.P settings. If set to DHCP try changing to a static I.P address.

does the network on DHCP? on scanning the scanrouter where the scanfolder directed or addressed was changed due to the dhcp log ip issuance... or maybe the scanrouter is suspended.

        i hope it could help
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

i assume sir that you are reffering to the machine it self.... maybe we have a dchp network that may cause our problem...

Good point, but if that is the case it's the customers problem! I would politely suggest that their I.T people solve the problem! It may be an idea to check the setting on the machine, if it's on DHCP request and input a static address then suggest they adjust their system accordingly.

We are talking about a ScanRouter setup correct? I had this issue recently when they changed the IP address on the Delivery server computer. The computer with the ScanRouter software needs to have a STATIC IP as does the copier. TCP Port #3670 needs to be open on the delivery server as well. Make sure that the ScanRouter services are in operation. You should remove the IO device and re add it to Scanrouter if the computer being used as the server has a different IP addy now.

I would also look at anything they did when they had the computers worked on. Talk to the IT people who of course will never admit that they caused the issue.

Also since they have already told you that they had the computers worked on and now it doesn't work, in our company that is a chargable call. Bill 'em good!!!

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.
