    mpc4500 adding tonr

Each time u open any door I get adding toner. Sounds like its from the blk toner. replaced pump, dv assy, drum, irf pcb. Cleaned pipe and toner hoppers. Still getting it. No spillage in mch. mch works fine after it thinks its loaded.

Narrow it down to which unit is at fault. You can't troubleshoot a problem unless you KNOW for a fact which unit is causing it.

Then check the RJ45 connector on the back frame and the unit. They have been known for getting damaged when installing the units.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

      Thank you for your reply.
It is the black toner that is trying to load.

Maybe a dumb question, but did you try another toner?

if after replacing toner bottle, opc, toner pump, dev assy and still its loading toner? how about not just cleaning the toner end sensor, replace it if could help... i assume that sp modes are not change... sp 3 102= 5 try to adjust..... good luck...
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Toner bottles full although they are empty actually

I have a similar problem - machine is loading toner after every closing the door etc., but in addition ... in SYSTEM STATUS you can see toner bottles are full although they are empty actually. All colours.

                  Have you tried upgrading/reloading firmware?
Don't take that toner with me!

                      hi

I encountered this problem many times with black toner (MP C2500), what I did is just cleaned the host(tube) from the toner to the black dev't unit. The toner tends to get stuck on the host(tube) because on the middle it is elevated. Just try this!!!

                        +1

I've cleaned out clogged toner supply tubes a few times on the MPC 2500-4500 range.
And I've also had a couple of faulty toner attraction pumps.

NIGHTMARE FAULT .... Turned out the fault is caused by the toner signal from the NVRam not being altered when the new bottle installed.
FIX.. copy NVRam on to SD card. Print SMC report. Print of Non standard data report. Carry out MEMORY ALL CLEAR. Reinstall NON STANDARD settings,( mainly the Scanner settings) as you may have back ground. Time will tell if this has worked.
( some machine just will not have it.) If this is the case turn of toner end detect in sp3 05 ???

I have had to do what Spaceman did also. Engine clear. Machine is f*&^%d afterward, and all settings, init's need to be reloaded and performed (line positioning, color cal., etc.)
Don't take that toner with me!
