Is the machine set to english / inch units - sounds like its trying to send it as A4 size paper.

I've read about similar situations. A lot will depend on the capabilities of the AF2035.

The situation I was reading about was legal docs efiled to a courthouse from a Falcon II, Kyocera Mita KM-3035. This machine cannot specify the scanned original size. Now the Falcon III, KM-5050 you can select 11 x 8 1/2 letter and it will give you an 11.00 x 8.50 inch document exactly.

At least on the Kyocera products we could not find a way to specify the original size for the Falcon II. It was not strictly based on the exact size of the original document (for example: all "letter" originals consistently scan at 11.03 x 8.61).

On the Falcon III, when original size was left to Auto, "letter" originals consistently scanned at 11.04 x 8.64 inches.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Is auto size detect set as default in the scanner settings?
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
