Once you reset that code to 0, you will have to shut the machine off then back on for the machine to 'see' the change.Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+Comment

Hmmm, if you've reset the counter back to 0, and power-cycled the machine, there must be a bent pin or bad sensor.
I believe that the firmware made an adjustment in the timing so that the motor did not turn faster than the internal counters, causing a premature 550.
Make sure that the sensor flag is completely out of the sensor. I've had some not move very well over time and the spring can cause some problems as well.Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+Comment

I only mentioned this because its an odd problem, and odd problems have unlikely solutions - so its unlikely a machine with firmware that old is only now exhibiting symptoms, but as you know, given enough time anything with a non-zero probability of occurring will eventually rear its ugly head...73 DE W5SSJComment
