Just replace the web with a new one. Otherwise the hot roller will become dirty and that will cause more trouble.

The web unit on this machine is unnecessarily complex - watch out you don't break the web end sensor actuator!

You'd have to pull off a one way and some gears. If you're going to that much trouble, you might as well replace the web as Eric suggested. I also carry a spare web assy. for those occasions that I'm in a rush or don't have a web available. Just rebuild it later.
Web roll is AE045099, entire assy is D0094305

It's better to replace a fairly cheap part (web) than ruin an expensive part ( fuser roller).

The replacement of webs onsite is too time consuming. We ordered an extra fusing web unit for each major model series. We keep them on hand for those calls. Then we take the customers unit back to the shop. Rebuild it at our leisure and have it ready for the next call.

Reusing a web is a bit silly. They will just mar and scratch the fusing belt.

I've done this to quite a few units so far.

The only trouble I have with them is A) forgetting which side the 1 way bearing has to go back on, and b) too much pressure on the bushings cocking the one way bearing - cut down the springs or replace them with something a lot lighter.

              Been working great for me.

If this hadn't worked, I was going to slow the web down to make it last about 600k (like the MP6000) or pitch the web completely - the MP3500 works just fine without one, and I really don't believe the web adds enough life to the hot roller to justify the time it takes to keep replacing it every 160k or usually less.
