    Ricoh printing issue

Ricoh desktop printer can not handle job of more than a few pages. After that the machine starts leaving out parts of the document and then gives a low fuser temp error. Anyone had a similar problem?

I can't handle working more than a few days in a row. After that I start leaving out parts and get a headache plus fever (brain overtemp error?) Is that a similar problem?

    Sorry, been a long day.
Don't take that toner with me!

see if they are using a postscript driver if so change it to a pcl...should fix the problem...maybe...oh didnt see the fuser temp thing....hmmm...try the driver...makes it look like something is being done

I brought it back to the shop to test. With pcl drivers it prints as many as 50 pages then does its little trick. When you cycle power it starts printing on its own, but does not pick up where it left off, it starts over and then gets to the same number within a few pages and does it again. I called tech support and they said it could be this or it could be that or maybe this. I pretty much had it narrowed nown to something in the machine. I will start by changing the fuser.

          pieces of print

If the press roller is warped or not pressing right..maybe worn bushings...the paper does get pushed hard enough against the heat roller and can cause a problem..also a weak heater can cause the low temp and for toner to fall off the paper...works over ..have a great weekend!

Ricoh sent me a 220 volt fuser. This made me start a new thread about bad tech support.

How much DIMM memory does it have? Upgrading the memory might help (at least with the print issue...). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well at this point I am trying to get the correct fuser without paying for the wrong one. This is what caused me to start my thread on tech support.
