Paper bloked inside fusing unit in MP 4000

We have a problem on a photocopier MP 4000. Sheets of paper to block on fusing unit. I cleaning the detection cell. The sheet stop always the same level inside the fusing unit.

Have you seen the same problem on MP 4000 ?

Sounds like it could be a paper tray size setting problem, check those. If that's not it, post back with the jam locations from the SMC.

Setting the paper drawers is correct.

There are could be peaces of paper stuck inside of a fuser or somewhere on the way of a paper path. Check for it first. Also if you ran LABELS on this machine and they stuck inside of a copier you have a BIG problem Also you might do this - try to run from different trays and see if it jams from all trays or not. It will allow you to eliminate some stuff from the problem or it will confirm that it is a tray problem.

I've seen both papers and labels getting rolled around the pressure roller on these machines, causing intermittent paper jams. Also check the pressure roller springs so they apply equal pressure.

And I believe TonerMunkeh could be right too... if it is a paper size issue, it's noticable in the way that the second paper (i.e not the one in the fuser but the following paper) stops at the registration roller. That's a good sign that they're printing a format that doesn't match the size in the tray. So you'll do well in double-checking that... usually it's some application that prints letter size for example, but the tray has A4, or vice versa.

If bridge unit is innstalled.
If the paper stops on the way to the bridge unit, try to clean or replace the bridge switches, they tend to be poor.
Check the service mode area 7504 where the stop sign.
If there is a lot of stops on (at power on) it's switch to the bridge unit.
