    Ricoh aficio c3245 not reading black toner

    very bizzare , have not seen this before put several black toners in and the read is 4 blank dashes that look like this: ---- in the black toner supply on the congfig sheet..

    also has the message that the machine is adding toner and then goes to change out black cart..

      Vac out the toner tubes and try again. Could also be the traction pump has packed up.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

          yea but why the blank dashes ( ---- ) on the config sheet when we added the toner cart. (when we were able to actually print one out)
