    MPC6000 jam power on..

    Hi
Hope someone could give me a tip on this problem.
The machine indicates jam in D ! witch is somewhere around the fuser and jamcode 1 (power on) when it recovers from sleepmode ore startup (not every time). To restet, I have to open and pull out the fuser...have tried changing the sensors (3) around the fuser and cleand all the others. Have changed the interlock swiches at the door and cleaned the sockets (fuser) and in the machine...

Have someone had the same problem

Agree, I think there is a firmware update for powering on with the ADF up and it causing a fuser code.

Exactly the same problem but it was an MP-6000, brand new. It was the fuser exit switch harness giving that symptom. The grey harness, wich was very stressed from photointerruptor to the connector located at front left of fuser area...Different constructions but the same experience!!

That was the MP6000 (and subsequent models) Not the MPC (unless I missed it)

new Engine firmware was released about 2 weeks ago
