Has anyone successfully used the Ricoh(Panasonic) SD card formatter on any cards larger than 1G? I can get the cards to format and load the romdata folder and the machine sub folders, but when attempting to update the firmware in the machines they all seem to kick SC819 codes. Same thing happens if I try to backup the address book in user tools. I'm assuming the Ricoh hardware can't read the cards over 1G, so is there anyway to partition or format the larger SD cards to be used? Anyone got tricks to use the larger capacity cards?

Don't think the Ricoh's can use SDHC cards. As far as I know they can see 2gig and below. Everything 4 and above is SDHC.

IMHO, it's just not worth tangling with the larger cards to try to make them work. It seems that some brands fare better than others. Quite frankly, it's just not worth the time.
