MPC4000 light copy on color copier/printing

    hello,
i replaced a new 4 sets of PCU with new development unit (C,M,Y,K) in mpc4000 i set first the manual PCU replacement from 0 to 1, and i also do the force line adjustment mode c & mode a, but it appear failed?? so i decided to go on auto color calibration and suddenly the only thing you can see in the calibration is black and magenta the cyan and yellow are faded (blurred), i check & cleaned the laser unit, wipe the target glass, replaced the image transfer belt but still nothing happen.... can anyone help me in my problem? thanks

How does the image on the transfer belt before and after the paper transfer looks like (interrupt printing if the paper crosses the transferroller)? If the line position is way out of spec because of previous problems the machine often won't correct this without any help via sp mode - I don't have the exact procedure in mind but there should be a chapter inside the sevice manual for that issue - I guess that a/b mode thingy was quite ok to perform. Of course you'll need to restore the image density and clean the line positioning sensors first so the machine is able to read it's patterns.

But like I said it's importand to encircle the light density issue. If you can see that the density is low even on the ITB before paper transfer you may check the density on the drums.

Toner/pumps etc. shouldn't be the issue if you got that issue right after swapping the whole PCUs including dev (with should come with the right toner/dev concentration).

    Keep us posted pls

        Just remove the shutter.
If that's not it. Memory clear (upload NVRAM to SD card 1st)
Don't take that toner with me!

              Hi there,

Looks like the Image transfer section does not change the position from Black to Color mode. Check the Image transfer unit is coming up and down in Output check.

              Greetings

Have you tried a memory clear? It's worth a shot.

You upload NVRAM before a memory clear so you don't have to re-enter the multitude of SP data manually afterward.
