prejudice there 'ever in 1022 when a ricoh photocopy or print makes a noise like tac tac tac tac atc makes me all these models.
    What can be the cause?

FUSER BEARING or Cracked Lower Fuser Frame. Flat/Worn side of Pressure Roller. Overworn Fuser Cleaning roller.

I have found that most of the time, in this modelm, it is the pressure roller bearing. i usally go ahead and do a complete rebuild.

Yep, same here, Thermistors, PR, HT, Cleaning Roller, HR and PR Bearings. Sometimes the gear. Sometimes when you pull out the HR you will see the frame nearest the gear cracked or broken.

Roughen the surface of the hotroller where the bearing come (use something like a big plier to scratch).
Then use a bit (just a bit is enough) of heat grease and mount the bearing. They might be tapped on.
If you just mount new bearings, noise will be back in no time .....

          Good luck !!!
