Ricoh Aficio 2032 with SC548 error

    Ricoh Aficio 2032 with SC548 error

    I was called in today to service a Aficio 2032 that was creasing the paper down the middle, not all the time but sometimes. Having cleaned the copier and rollers etc., and replaced the fuser the screen showed an SC548 error. This seems to relate to the copier not sensing that the fuser is present but I have reseated the fuser several times to no avail.

    Any ideas would be gratefully received.

      Did you reset this SC (SP5-810)?

          No I did not. Do I need to do this just for having removed the fuser and replaced it?

              If you remove the fusing unit with the power on, you could generate this SC.

                  I may have done that, Eric. So now how do I reset this, please?
