Anyone in the US with a working TSCweb.net account? Without even posting an announcement they rolled out the single log and its broken. Not working etc. Requires your Tech ID and LAST NAME CAPS & tech ID. Then you are supposed to change it. Well that isn't working. Tried it in Firefox and IE.
Smooth Move Ricoh, Ya borked TSCweb

Yep Finally. Gotta say the new password Policy Kinda Sucks. I know some Business have Domain Login Policies like that. But 7 Symbols long, at least 1 Cap, 1 Symbol, 1 number. And changes ever 19 days. Now I have to start writing this bastard down.Comment

Working for me again after they reset my account. I like this message from them: "Our records indicate that you were inadvertently locked out today." Nice way of saying 'we messed up'. *chuckles*Did I have a dream, or did the dream have me?

Well, we only had a few days notice but no real idea on how it would be implemented (We never saw the announcement, I bet it went to management but never got distributed to the field). The whole idea is to have one login for all the sites we go to i.e. E-Learing, E-source, Ricoh University and TSC. Below is the email that was distributed today and also 2 attachments.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Service Managers- please distribute this information to your staff.
Last night Ricoh University launched and implemented the Single Sign On process.
We have already received a number of calls regarding glitches and confusion on logging into RFG eSource, e Learning, Ricoh University and the TSRC website.
To try to reduce the log in concerns we are providing a summary of the common issues and what is needed to prevent them.
Based upon the new system- EVERYONE IS CONSIDERED A FIRST TIME USER until you successfully change your password.
IMPORTANT- You must read the instructions on the "sign on" page-
RICOH ID field is to be filled in with the RICOH TECH ID
First time logging in Password is YOUR LAST NAME (all caps) followed by your RICOH TECH ID
After you successfully log in using the above steps, you will be prompted to change your password. When creating the new password you must use the following guidelines.
Passwords must-
Be a minimum of 6 characters long.
Contain at least one alphabetic character.
Contain at least 1 number.
Contains at least one special character (i.e. #, $,%,*,=,@).
Contains at least 1 capital letter
The five most recent passwords cannot be used.
Passwords expire every 90 days with a 14 day advanced notice.
Three attempts to enter a correct password are allowed before the user ID will be locked.
You cannot use your email address for your password.
After putting in the new information, press the "Log In" button.
At this time you will be incorrectly routed to another reset password page- PRESS "CANCEL"- DO NOT RESET THE PASSWORD.
Next you will be directed to your profile page- SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT- "BACK TO ORIGINAL SITE"; which will take you to the site or web page you selected.
Note: TSRC website is experiencing some access problems related to the SSO process, which will be corrected soon.
If you do get locked out in trying to enter the systems, send an email to "RFGSingleSignOnWebSupport@ricoh-usa.com" and the Ricoh University support staff will address each situation in the order that it came through the queue.
Attached are the documents that were released by Ricoh University describing the process in detail.Comment

Ricoh and its love of Single sign on, its sprwead from the computers login to websites now Always thought it a huge security risk to have one password opens all but what do I know. In the UK thankfully the various websites seem to be still letting us use different passwords i hope they dont try something similarComment

Finally got logged in, to the "original site" anyway..... thanks to the tips from 'Teebee'. The password change kept resulting in my account being locked.
Out of curiosity, is anyone else finding that their permissions are different, or in my case...NOTHING????
No access to manuals, TSB's, Firmware..nothing. Is this related to the "technical difficulties" or do I have to get a hold of someone?Comment
