    [Dead] Frozen Lanier LP226

    probably posted this in the incorrect forum to start with.
    I have a Lanier LP226cn printer. When turned on it will go to please wait then no further. Will not go to SP mode, will not show error if I take fuser out. Tried to update firmware just to see if something happened, nothing. Anyone seen this before? I suspect the controller board but I would like other opinions before spending money.

      i don't know this model but this symton usually points to the hard drive. try unplugging the hard drive and see if it will come to ready.
