MP161 - forward fax to email

I've tried, honestly I have. Can't get incoming faxes to go to an email address (inbound routing). Anyone got experience on this one? Can scan to email and have the 'go to' email address stored (maybe incorrectly). I'm pretty sure this model can do it.

You have to turn the feature on in UT>Fax Feat.>Forwarding

Make sure that the 161 can scan to email successfully; until that happens, you'll never be able to forward the incoming faxes.

Just as an FYI, this model cannot forward the faxes to email as a PDF; it can only send them as TIFF files. You can, however, forward to a folder as a PDF or TIFF.

(Don't ake me - I didn't design the silly thing...)

Tiff only huh, not gonna work for the application if that's true. Scan to email works good, forwarding has been turned on in UT. Guess I've got something set wrong. First RX the machine clicks off like it attempts to send, then on redial it receives and prints out on the machine. I'll post settings when I get a chance, may set back to default first. Thank you both for the help.
