    [Misc] MP 6001 doc feed

I have a MP 6001 Ricoh that in the adf exit rollers the paper stops with approx. 3 inches left in the exit. machine shows no jam. if running a stack of originals it will continue to feed but each paper stops and next original runs into it. still no jam. have replaced all feed, sep and gave thorough cleading as well as replaced adf controller. any ideas?

Sounds like a mechanical problem in the exitsection. Try to run it with less covers, you might see the problem.

Yes we thought of that. removed all covers and ran machine. rollers just stop then start again to feed next original through. No physical cause we can see.

Have you tested the ADF exit sensor through the SP mode?

there is also a firmware change in Ricoh tech site. something about more accurate size detection.

You should get any jams in the SMC report if one of the sensors is gone. I thought there were no jams?
