    [Error Code] Ricoh MPC3500 error SC580

    The error is a zero cross error or the IH inverter. swapped IH inverter and fuser,no help.any ideas? I may need to dust off the old multimeter for this one,does anyone have a point to point?

      Have you changed the inverter power pack too?
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Could also be a defective IH Coil Unit. I hope for you this is not the case, because replacing the Coil Unit is gonna take hours...

              turned out to be the IH coil--not the monster job the book made it out to be. took about an hour.
