    Hi,

    544 A Fusing overheat error 2

Is the machine plugged into an unstable supply?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

i know they connect the machine direct to the plug without any power supply... but when we advice them to use a power supply they dont buy becouse the stories are all the same: we dont have money for that. and then the problem is always from the machine! what is your sugestion TonerMunkeh?

A line filter/power supply is probably the best fix. if you have another fusing unit you could swap for a test and the same thing happens, it would point to a power problem. in all of the fuser codes i have seen, i think that have have only seen one with a bad power supply(TRIAC).
