In ricoh mpc3500 fax option, international faxes are not received. m/c starts handshaking and getting disconnected without any errors. this was working before. i tried with different modem speed settings, different file type settings and different country code settings. but nothing worked out. suggestions please.

Alot of time it turns out to be a problem with the other fax machine or the noise / condition of the line.
Can you send from the MPC3500 to this other fax machine in question without a TX error?
Can you send and recieve to different international fax/number from the MPC3500?
Can you send and recieve to your own office fax machine from the MPC3500?
Try testing a smaller fax machine plugged into the same line to see if you can dupicate the problem.

i tried the fax with diffrent number in the same country, its a diffrent district. and all locl faxes are receiving and sending. internationational transmission also happening well. i'll try tocheck with diferent country fax now.Comment

Have you tried disabling the ECM? I've found a lot of fax issues can be resolved by turning this off.Comment
