    Ricoh mp6001/savin 9060 sc555

    Pretty sure there is a bulletin on this, keeps reoccurring. Also what is the proper position for the thermistors? There is no mention of it in the book, i am not trained on this machine.

    Here's the tech pub on that matter.

    There are a lot of reasons for that SC code to pop up, and a lot of fixes. Make sure that your firmware is up to date. I also go into the SP modes and and turn down the starting fusing temps.

      Also the fuser drawer may be losing contact. put a 2mm washer on the screws that hold the fuser connector on. Use them to shim the connector towards the rear.

        just encountered this problem with mp 7001, we updated the firmwares then replaced all the thermistors and thermostats, machine is still working now.
        Nobody is perfect..
