Web motor Gestetner 6002

Hi friends

Can someone point me how to turn on web motor on gestetner 6002. I'm getting black copies and I'm pretty sure that fuser roller must be changed, but wish to start web motor to see if it's working.

I think if u have black Copys u have a problem with charging of course its the corona

Problem is with "doubled" image and I know that fuser is making it. First time on that site, no service history for this machine. Just trying to figure out why. Is it problem with web motor that doesn't turn cleaning web or it's time to change fuser assy.

A doubled image can also be caused by the drum not being cleaned or quenched correctly. Is the hot roller visibly dirty? Big black stripe on the web?

If you're sure it's the web not turning then check the web motor and check all the little gears that turn the web. I have had both go bad on me. The gears break teeth so make sure you check them all very well.

Drum is OK. Yes roller is very dirty and there is black stripe op the web. Roller must be changed, but i wanted to check if that problem wasn't caused bu the web motor.

I usually mark one position on the cleaning web, then start web motor. After while check does it move. If yes, then everything should be fine.
