Black Laser Diode home position error.
First at all, check FU81 on the PSU. If ok, you need to remove the Laser Assy and check for stuck motor (cleaning helps most), bad sensor or broken Spring.

Ps.: The Laser Assy is located in the upper middle of the unit, you can flip the scanner unit like a hood to gain access.

leave me another PM in case you need a manual 4free

I know that we have struggled with this SC before. At the end it was a little motor that is adjusting the position of the black laser diode - maybe that is the cause of your problem as well. It's also possible that there might be toner dust blocking the black LD position sensors.

The problem in our case was that you can't order these parts seperately so you have to order a complete LD unit or strip another machine. Maybe you have an old CL7000 in stock - I think the motor and sensor parts should be the same.
