[Jamming] Ricoh SpC210Sf not feeding out of paper tray reliably

I am sometimes getting it to print but other times it will not draw the paper out of the drawer or will only partially, sometimes an inch and sometimes further. It does not even get to the fuser but if it does there is no problem there. The roller and sep pad look ok, Could it be the motor that drives the feed roller not always working? Maybe when it gets hot it starts to fail? HAs anyone had to replace one of these? Thanks

New feed tyre and friction pad should sort it. Failing that, do the feed clutch. That'll pretty much knock it on the head.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Thanks for this info. I could not see how to replace the feed tire, there is a clip I removed but the tire did not want to come off. Is there something I missed? Also, for the clutch, do you know which side that is on?

From the manual it looks like you have to take the rear cover, paper guides and paper sensor assembly out to remove the feed tyre and sep pad. The clutch sits on the back right hand side of the machine in the gearbox assembly, along with the transfer, registration and fusing clutches.

Appreciate the help. The sep pad comes off from underneath with a single screw. I guess the feed tire I am not so lucky, I can see that the shaft does not go all the way acroos, I can see the end of it to the left when I remove the clip. Maybe I need to look closer, Maybe the feed tire has a clip that opens up to allow removal? I have a parts machine I can look at and will let you know. I do not want to have to change the clutch unless I have to.

Thank you Mr. Munkeh, or may I call you Toner? I did take the back plates off as you directed and was able to remove the paper feed roller. Solved the feeding problem! Appreciate the help!
