Is the printed image enlarged or rotated?

Check the original size sensor perhaps it is dirty.Clean it and see the results.

I already changed the format sensors under the glass.
          Always the problem.

The image is normal no enlarge A4 to A3 on a left side.

ADF position sensor. When you close the lid the APS is seeing the white platen cover and selecting A3.

We checked optical sensors and were ok, then we checked and cleaned CCD sensor (that's because one size is checked by CCD sensor before scanning the document) and the problem seemed to be solved. But after a few hours the problem come back.

Any other clue to solve this.

              Thanks for your help.

Re: Problem copy on the glass

You still didn't say whether or not you checked the APS set sensor per ZEDs post. The actuator (spring loaded) is attached to the right hinge of the ADF (drops thru a cutout in the bottom) and engages the photo interuppter on top of the scanner. If the actuator misses or is hung up, the set sensor won't "tell" the size sensors under the glass to take a snapshot of the paper as the lid is closed and thus detects the entire platen as the size (A3).

Re: Problem copy on the glass

It is a Platen Cover Sensor problem (the left one!!!). In your case it acts like an "adf home position" sensor and it is mounted on the copier not on ADF!
Check through diagnostics SP-4301 and clean or replace with the exact part number

Re: Problem copy on the glass

we checked both APS set sensor and Platen Cover Sensor. They were the first sensors checked. They actually works.
The weird think is that afer a cleaning of the CCD the machine was woring fine for almost 2 hours.

                    Thanks for your help

We are sorry we misunderstood about this post.
We were talking about MPC2050 and MPC2800.

I was wrong in reading the first post of this 3ad.

If you can help us too would be apreciated.

                      Thanks.
