    [CQ] Ricoh 5315 Shadow

    I am not a Ricoh tech, but I've been working on Sharp, HP, Panasonic for 10 years.

    I have a customer with a Ricoh 5315 with a shadow on the rear-frame edge of copies and prints approximately 1.5 to 2 cm wide. It looks like drum cleaning blade failure and replaced the drum unit which solved the problem for less than 100 prints. The shadow returned, not exactly as it was but close enough.

    Am I missing something?

      What is a 5315? is the line there when printing from memory?

          Ahh my paperwork has the machine listed wrong, it's actually a Samsung SCX5315, small multi-function machine. I'll find a more appropriate forum to post this in.

          Though to answer your question, yes it does it when printing from memory, internal reports.
