    [CQ] aF3245C - A3 COLOUR PRINT ISSUE

    I am having an issue with a Af3245c, A4 colour correct and test ok, black a4 + a3 great, colour a3 prints/copys halfway through image transfer - noise can be heard like slipping belt, causing colour registration issue, new transfer belt installed. new cleaning transfer unit installed. same problem - any ideas please

    Did you clean the rollers that drive the belt, before installing the new one?

      yes the transfer unit rollers are shiny clean, so its not registration, as auto colour registration is ok, its only a3 colour printing, not a4 colour or a3 black, seems strange, like a loading issue.

        Have you tried fresh paper? I've seen these machines have copy quality issues only on A3 turn out to be damp paper. Didn't have any noises like you say though.

          Along these same lines, what about media type? Is this A3 paper also heavier stock, and are you using the correct media type settings? =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            Interlock the door open and press on the transfer cleaner blade lever to see if the noise goes away. If so, not enough lube (toner) on the new transfer blade.

                Had exactly this Problem 3 Years ago, never found a Solution to this

                If someone has a Solution to this, let me know, i still want to learn
