I've managed to avoid doing 'all clears' for most of 20 years. They cause more harm than good. I've not had an 'all clear' ever actually fix anything.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I think you have the right idea but sadly due to tweakers, iffy nv ram units and weird problems with Java modules and other applications loaded on to mfps and printers.

I have on a few occasions had to use it (mostly as a diagonostic tool and then loaded the saved contents back on to the nvram) but i agree that some people think its the answer to everything which is not a good idea.

I suspect I have the same problem on a customer's AP3800C MF. Tonyd, can you provide any details on what the dest code should be? I'm not really a Ricoh guy but I'd like to fix this one...
