I have a Savin C3535. When you go to scan the buttons don't align, with where you have to hit the screen. I 'm not trained on Savins, I'm trying to help out a friend of a customer. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Scan screen mis-alignment/C3535
As in the screen/buttons aren't appearing in the right position or you have to press the screen in an odd spot to select a button?
If the latter, you could try doing a touch screen calibration.
To get into the calibration screen, <clear modes>, 1-9-9-3, <clear/stop> x 5. This should pull up the diagnostic menu, 1 for touch screen adjust. Then using a small dull pointed item calibrate the screen.
If it's the first, I have no suggestions aside from firmware update/reloading.Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Re: Scan screen mis-alignment/C3535
The Alignment procedure will probably get you by for a VERY short time. This is a known issue with this line, and the touch panel (not the LCD screen itself) will need to be replaced. See attached service bulletin.Attached FilesA Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.

Nope, never. Not on the copiers anyways. I also service Tidel safes that have a touch screen and they seem to fail quite frequently. But, usually when they fail they don't just become misaligned they become unresponsive to any touch.Have you tried turning it off and on again?
