think may have found the issue , turns out .. if you turn the "toner near end " down to low the machine will sit and run for ages
but not ask for more toner ...

i have a machine that was set to 5mg . took it up to 10mg and it was all good again :-)

When you had this issue, did the machine print at all or was it just making noises until you redid the setting?

Hi Had a similar issue on a new MP russian Machine.We had replaced, the following parts....

• IPU
• BICU
• Controller
• Opps panel
• Memory
• HDD

Turns out after doing a nvram clear (last resort) the machine works fine, something must of twisted it's little mind!
Anyway thats been two months ago and it hasnt been on since!

(Probally will be reported now that I've talked about it!, I've broken the first rule of being a copier engineer, Don't talk about copiers you think you have fixed, they have a sixth sense and break).
