    If there's a Postscript SD card in, for example, an MPc4500 and it hasn't had any application merging performed on it, you can simply remove it and put it into another MPc4500.

            Let's make it clear.
            if you have a Postscript3 SD card and it has nothing merged to it and let's say one sunny day you decided to make another Ricoh box having Postscript because you don't like this one jamming all the time you will just need to turn off you "bad jamming" copier, take SD with a Postscript and install it to the right (same as on the old machine) slot. Then turn on the machine and enjoy it - as simple as that. Postscript is not attached to the machine once installed, it's more of a license thing. Only genuine product can be used and upgraded.
