    [CQ] Anyone seen a color drum of the B224 serie?

    B2242042 BK drum for mpc 2500-4500
    This drum goes 120k...
    But why have ricoh not make one for C,M,Y pcu???
    I think the answere is, everyone use BK drum for m,c,y. after modification... but could ricoh think like this??

      Ahh thougt they would come... do you use them?? For me it's not the cost that is the problem, it,s the space in the car and the walk from the car to the customer, that make me use the bk drum

        Not the cost? Really? Are they not 3 times the price of the black PCU like they are here?

          I don't have a choice, i am not allowed to mod black drums, have to fit the right colour drum everytime, life is so easy lol

            The drums are exactly the same apart from the Harness the only reason the COL ones last longer is because blk is used more every copy it uses blk even if no blk is on the copy.

                      I haven't received any yet, but had a tech tell me he used one on a D029 (!!!) last week. He said he didn't have to swap wires on the harness, just filed down the connector to replace the cyan PCU.

                        Yes that work.. there are a thread aboute it... for the bk d029 u need to swap wires.

                            We are using them for a couple of weeks.
                            Fit perfectly but we don't know already is het banding issues are solved.
                            The cold has nor set in yet, so we are anctious awaiting.
