Ricoh MP6001 dead from firmware upgrade

Happy new year guys, ran into a problem where I was in the middle of a firmware upgrade on the machine and power went down (dead). After got power, the "Please wait message" will not clear.. are there any way to revive the machine without breaking a limb or two?

Try this , press 143, then clear stop key 3 times, then reboot.

I did 143 too and no luck. What parts would need to be replace in order to fix this problem?

Have you tried anything with the harddrive? Try a new harddrive or remove the old one and format it with your laptop.

When the power went down, it might have been updating de control panel.
The only solution is to replace this panel because you can't replace the nvram that's blocked.
The manual will tell you that the update will continue. BAD LUCK

Check the manual, there was a procedure to boot from the sd card with dip sw settings on some older models, and some also had a boot sd card you could get to recover.

But tbh you'd have to be the unluckiest bugger since Bin Laden's hideout coordinator......power going out mid firmware upgrade.

Hahha.. funny.. Yea i guess I am one of them.. it was storming that day and the tree fell down on one of the electrical wire. Anyways, I just want to thank everyone on this, the BCU and nvram resolved the issue.
