I Am Working On A Gestetner 3222 (richo 220) It Was Dumping Toner And Had Pcq When I Started We Replace Dum Unit, transfur Unit And Roller, Cleaned Mirrors, rebuilt Fuser Unit, and Put New Toner In Machine. Better Cq, But Still White Streaks From Lead To Trail, And Sky Shot Shows "roller Ridges" In The Light Areas?
I Should Have Put Richo For My Least Fav Copier!!! Can Any One Help?

Somethings out of whack! Did you use an OEM PCU, if not then process control may not have been performed automatically.
Look at SP2220. Specifically VT, Vsg and Vsp. Are they normal?
Look at SP2001 Charge Bias- set to default
Look at SP2201 Developer bias- set to default
Look at S{2301 Transfer bias- set to default.

clean the laser slit glass. If it was dumping toner it got on the laser unit.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

          re pcq on 220

clean laser slit glass and possibly if toner dumping was severe you may have to open laser unit and clean all mirrors,
also check that both springs are in place on the charge roller and that one hasnt dropped off, also worth checking that dev unit hasnt got an obstruction in it stopping dev getting to the cylinder.

Good catch faxman! When it dumps, its right onto the slit glass.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
