If the web is getting wrapped around the press roller, there is a pretty good chance the web gears have become stripped.

i have the same problem with many Aficio 2075...changed the fuser web, and after a while SC 550 comes up......set SP 1902 to another value, (+ - 10) and it works for a while, and then again SC 550....

i have a tool to check the web motor, some batteries with a conector that fits the web motor, so i can see if everything works fine.

I think this model has 2 spots to reset the web when you replace it in SP mode & PM counter. Good luck!
I had one machine where the harness was rubbing against the head of a screw and shorting to ground every two to three days. Moved the harness to where it didn't touch the screw.
