1 way bearings in duplex slipping.
        Causes timing problems.
I just pull them off, clean them and rough up the shaft with a scotchbrite.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

On the bottom of the fuser is a black metal guide. Remove the 2 screws, clean the metal guide, and when you put put it back on use the square holes instead of the round ones. This allows you to pull the guide back a little farther and make the opening bigger. The paper curls on the second side and catch's it.

Check the duplex guide plate for warping? This is known on this model when it has 500k and up

i think i had one like this a while back if i remember right the page makes it about an inch or so into the right side door before jamming, i believe i pulled off the cover on the right side of the door and found the timing belts loose and one ways slipping, i usually take off the one ways and spin a q-tip with alcohol around inside them, clean the shafts, and then make sure the belt tension is good.

I have seen cheap/ recycled paper cause this code.
Too much curl entering duplex and tagging on the guide plate.
$5.00 a case more is not going to break their budget.
