A jam code is the first thing to look at. You can also test all ADF-sensors if they are working ok. If you have a clutch that's not working you can take it apart and clean the two metal plates. Sometimes there's a lot of dirt and rust in it. Make sure those plates are DRY. WD-40 lubricates them and that will cause the two plates to slip, causing more jams.

jamming in ADF after coping 25 copies
hello folks,
am going through a nightmare,am working on an mp 2000 that has made only 21000 copies i just dont understand why it jams at 25 copies,
i have tried cleaning all the rollers in the ADF everything seems perfect. i sprayed the clutches with dw40 but still same problem keeps persisting i just dont know what to do next
i'd be gratefull with any help that can be provided
