Thought about fitting the SPC840DN PCU However the manual only lists the PCDU unit?

I have seen there are "after market kits" however I prefer to use genuine due to their trusted PM life.
I went to a SPC840DN where it threw a SC code after the customer changed all 4 PCDUs at life.
One of the Devs was seized and the gears at the front of the PCDU were different to copier units. The drive at the rear was also different.

The life of those PDCUs iwere 60K !!!!!!!!

Hello, you can use a Black unit to rebuild a Colour PCU. We have been doing this as a workshop refurb to save on purchasing new Colour PCUs for 03s, it is a big job and requires a small notch for the charge to fit, and has worked without and fault.

But the original question has to do with the PCDU not the PCU. PCDU is the PCD and development unit combined.

One thing everyone needs to remember, price hikes are like shit, they have all the time.

Ah ok, so with a 60k like maybe the spc840 units are like the mpc2003/2503 units

Would you mind to ask and share the source? I bought these parts via alibaba in china some time ago to refurbish two units (still runnung with no issues) but wasn't able to find a dealer offering a complete kit with all needed parts so I had to place several orders at different dealers wich increased the parcel costs pretty much.
