    [Error Code] mpc2500 error code sc 868-02

    welcome , this error code sc 868-002 in ricoh mpc2500 happen after power on , from the s manual
    says its a device problem , either SD card or the controller. I tested the controller with its blue SD card and hdd
    in other good mpc2500 machine its working normal . so the problem lie in another place other than the controller,hdd ,or SD card . so can you guide me to the correct fault,thanks

    Have you tried flashing fw to latest version?

        If it as a SD CARD reader attached to the machine disconnect it and try again.

          If the machine has had JAVA installed, someone may have turned the machine on after removing the JAVA card without first stopping JAVA, which can blow the controller board and the JAVA card. Per Goose's Guide, check the following Technical Service Bulletins: B230-009 and B861-002.

            The controller won't blow wthout the java card in. I'm guessing you still uninstall java before you update the firmware.

            Try unplugging the HDD and powering it up.
