This is a easy one for rookies, change the fuser rollers and bushngs, check exit sensor feeler that goes to the back side of your machine, it may e getting stuck, if not, change the sensor that works with that feeler it is on the top rear end when you open the exit door.

try to clean first the fusing unit using check fusing gears... verify the life of your rollers perhaps they need to replace....
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Taking out the fuser is a little different than most of our newer machines.

Since you need to remove the fuser, rebuild and reinstall, make sure that you reinstall the fuser tabs UNDER the frame tabs. Also, while the machine is fully clamshelled, remove and clean the drum drive spring-loaded coupler gear (by the drive motor.)

It's not too hard to remove the fuser, just pay attention to how it is in there before you remove it. And, make sure that the machine is properly stablized when you go to remove the stops to open the machine 90 degrees.

And remove the developer and cleaner unit before opening the clamshell all the way..
