    [Misc] Copy a SD Card Printer/Scanner

    Hello, I have two SD card for a Ricoh Aficio MPC4500, one is working fine, but the other no, I was trying to clone the good one to the other but didnt worked, has some one try this ?


    The bad SD card is fisically ok, but I dont know why the files become damaged and now I need to clone the good one..




    Any idea ????

      The cards cannot be copied. There are hidden sectors on them that cannot be written or erased.

          That's true - I was able to fix corrupted system/option SD cards with the data content of healthy ones though

              Not if the corrupted portion is one of the hidden sectors.

              mterrero, you will have to order a service replacement SD card. That or send the defective card to Ricoh for repair.

                  shure there's no guarantuee this does work - a replacement card via spare part isn't too pricey as worst case

                              Try the parts catalog for the C4500. It is a listed part of the controller.
