If those images are scanned into the computer before being printed, it could be that the scanner needs to be cleaned.
After working on machines that have color scanners for a while, I've found it irritating that contamination of the scanner will sometimes only show up in certain colors. But that is the way that it goes.

Yeah. Spots of colored ink, dust, etc will show as black lines on B/W and as their color in Full Color.

No we even tried digital photos from the computer and in still happens.. Another thread had the same problem and he reset the right laser unit..Says they had a bad batch of laser units..??

The other thread is about MPC305s, a completely different model. Apart from errors with polygon mirror motors, I don't think I've experienced any problems with laser units on MPC3500s

Oh, and if it was laser unit then it would show as a problem on copies too

I'm still kind of curious what software you are using to print the image. Knowing what kind of computer you are using would be useful as well.
After all you've posted here, the problem is unlikely to be the fault of the MPC3500.

Not shure if the thread starter understoods the hint about the line: it just might appear like a line due to another colour missing. Totally looks like it on the sample and depending what you test in copy mode it's logical that you might not be able to reproduce the symptome. Just try and print full page half tone patterns in single color mode (C/M/Y/K) - instead of a yellow line there might appear a white line, another mystery...

That's a good idea, but the thread starter has said several times that the line only happens when printing from a computer.
Kind of why it looks like an image creation problem to me. That's why I brought up the scanner.
I actually have seen image defects like the examples caused by scanners contaminated by dust, although the lines I've seen were quite a bit narrower.
I've had to replace a couple of SBUs due to faulty or blocked elements in the CCD as well. That also created a similar print defect.
Based on the information the thread starter has shared, this sounds like the problem is more likely due to a fault in an image creation system independent of the MPC3500 though.
My guess, for what it is worth.

OK GUYS !! The hard drives went ..The toner pump went...Popping codes left and right..Pulled it and put a 5k machine in ..No problems anymore and now have a parts machine...No more HEADACHE
