good morning, what I need is to change a MP2035 that was a customer with a fault that can not be solved in place for another, this client has over 100 users scan and I need to pass to the new 2035, Will changing the hdd is pass data or have to do differently?

Go to the address book in WIM and click on maintenance.
Backup address book and when you replace the machine, go to address book and restore the data.
This does work over most models.
I saved addresses on a 3045 and restored them on a MPC 4500.Why do they call it common sense?

If Maintenance in the WIM does not work for some reason, you can Export Data and Import Data from a CSV file with Smart Device Monitor for Admin, using the Address Management Tool, but you would lose SMB scanning passwords if they are specified within the address book. If the same password is used for all scan addresses you can go into File Transfer in the WIM and specify user and password for SMB one time.Comment

I'm assuming that the poster is referring to an Aficio 2035, since there is no MP2035?
That said, unless he's also referring to the 'E' version of the machine, there's also no SMB scanning either.

Ouch you pulled out the S-Word. I just adore Scanrouter LT... I don't run into it often anymore but it still lingers. Most folks don't even know it when they see it. But just look for that Delivery Option = ON
IF they want to connect with ScanRouter, the hill gets a little steeper.Comment

Let me get this straight...You're going to all this trouble to replace a 12 year old outdated and obsolete machine with the exact same model, that operates on a piece of software that has been obsolete, and unsupported for nearly as long?

I think it's still on TSSC, but absolutely NOT supported.
